Gronkowski Resting for Big Night

Posted by JJ Comeau.

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski showed little evidence of pain while celebrating the Patriots gut wrenching 21-17 loss following Super Bowl XLVI.

The 22 year old, who suffered a high ankle strain during the Patriots 23-20 AFC Championship win over the Ravens, only recorded two catches during his Super Bowl debut. His miserable performance did not carry into the late hours of Sunday night as he was seen rockin' the stage during an LMFAO performance along with left tackle teammate Matt Light.

The highly criticized dance party could have received even more negative attention, but the fact that it took place at the Patriots own after party helped Gronkoski and Co. save some face. Was this Gronks way of saying who cares about the outcome? I'm rich. Or was it just a harmless act used as a remedy to ease the pain of being a part of another Patriots' team who managed to blow a Super Bowl. Nevertheless, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, even though Eli was the one who drove away in his new Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Convertible.
